The Platinum Pig Award 2007

The platinum pig award is an incentive for units to reach less than 10% annual Salmonella prevalence.

The first 'Platinum Pigs Awards' for units with less than 10% positive and suspect Salmonella results during 2007 were announced at Pig Fair. Shown below are the location of all of the Platinum Pig Produers in the UK and Northern Ireland.  Award winning sites are shown by a platinum award certificate on their ZNCP report.
